Summer Song

Summer Song A hole in the covering cloud ... Summer lies tied to the clairvoyant condor’s claw Sweeping the skies supremely surely Unblinking gaze on the shimmering earth Not a figment of the cultivated cocaine cloud Looks on with transfixed tormenting time Setting the wild abandon abundantly ablaze Plucking a feather from its flying feathered wings Drops it on lazy lounging wafting dreams Brushing the cherubic cheeks of childhood ignorance Scorching the tears to sublime salt Another whiff, another world The same summer stretches beyond!

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
