The Droplet A journey of life The little droplet left its abode A journey begun all alone Through dancing winds and passing cloud Among the stars where its home had gone Swaying left and swaying right But racing along always ahead Through shades of black and patches of light Taking hues of blue and red Seeking joy all along In light, in breeze, in warmth and chill Seeing life as all a song But feeling still a little unfill Down it swung through pain and joy Till it perceived a vast beyond Swamping up in all its majesty The beckoning ocean , to which it bound Encompassing all in a sprawling grace The little one, a droplet no more Roaring high with all in embrace It had passed beyond heavens door For it saw what it had unseen That it had never really been Mistaking itself to be the seeker Homecoming to find, itself the maker

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
