An Idle Afternoon Camera captures.... Few bicycles on the road Temperature soar Bikers astride Pedestrain inch a few stride Umbrellas are out today It's not raining Sitting on the steps of a school building Shade so soothing Delving into a world Where action is replaced by inaction Housewives glued to TV sitcoms Rickshawpuller take a nap Lukewarm business at the grocery store Most've downed their shutters The chirping of birds in the surrounding Butterflies at their variegated best with wings fluttering Two young calves are cuddling each other Wrapped by a towel around his waist extending downward A man with a vest and a sickle in his hand Runs towards the bamboo grove A carpenter working with his tool A lady bringing her child back from school The interval... A lull before the frenetic pace of events to unfold?

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
