Ethereal
A poem
When I leap
to my sleep
and sink
within it deep
Bliss pervades my world.
Tiring day
restless at night
you act like a balm
and provide me calm.
Arising from my slumber
I look
anew at the world,
recharged at its peak.
Whenever I'm faced
with bouts of insomnia
I slip into paranoia.
A boon I seek
to die in my sleep
painless exit
caring souls soaked from weep.
What stayed with you?
A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
