The Silence Within (This article has been read 49 times) Posted by suma.jayaraman on November 13, 2003 (Thursday) Hither and Thither did I run Looking for a safe haven but found none Engulfed by tainted speech and noise Threatening to break my equipoise At last, in the only magical place, Deep down beneath the surface I was once lost but now Im found I rejoice on breaking new ground For emerging from the din - Is the silence within. Born of silence, speech has meaning Silence itself ; unborn and all revealing Nurturing in its womb divine music and rhyme A state of bliss in the other dimension of time Waking the dead from their dreary existence Leading to a path beyond circumstance Reflecting the truth hidden in the soul Reuniting the part with the whole Cause delivering me from sin - Is the silence within.

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
