With whom shall I fall in Love????

Help me out, I am totally perplexed !!!

I was inspired to write this article after going through one of the articles posted on this site by Mr. Amit Singh which charged my mind with this intriguing question. With whom shall I fall in Love?

Love as per my personal point of view is a thing that can happen to you at any point of time, in any situation and with anybody. This `anybody' may not neccessarily be a person of opposite sex but he/she may be of the same sex. The point is what actually do you mean by love. Does buying and giving cards and gifts (according to the article of Amit) only signify that there is love. No it does not, atleast not according to me. Then does love neccssarily mean that there should be sexual relationship between you and your partner. As far as I have heard, a pure and ideal love should not involve this also. Then why do you need somebody of opposite sex?

I think that there is some kind of social pressure on you and also you are tuned by the society to fall in love with a person of opposite sex only, as you are living in an environment where persons of same sex don't fall in love.

So why not to break this unwritten law. Who knows that you might be more happy with a person of the same sex or further still that you are in love with such a person but not really accepting it as it does not have a precedence. Any answers ??
