An epicurean song This wheedling world that goes its way and is both silly and gay is a drunkard God’s master play, a whim of the tipsy one.

In a fit of absentmindedness he created this Universe, and all this huge fuss topsy-turvy and full of fun.

Only the drowsy philosophers (who by the way are great humbugs), with a long face tell us of cosmic harmony.

but so far as we can look around and see we behold only polygamy.

A christmas without a cake is never holy for its own sake, so,let us sing and merry make and taste all pleasures

not with our consent were we to the planet sent, let him for his folly repent, why did he create us?

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
