On a String Posted by Seema Ramanarayanan on Monday April 09, @09:57PM Something I wrote eons ago ... found it yesterday while moving things to my new apt and felt like I was going thro old photographs or something!! Felt very sheepish but then again... Come on, Come on Don't stand there My body awaits Your cold hands bare Take my hand Lead me to your lair Freeze me under That steely glare Play your tune & Watch me dance To the fickle tunes Of love & romance Watch me talk Watch me amuse For debts untaken Pay my dues Sing you a song make you smile Contrive humour Make you laugh a while Follow your step On the path you lead Poke me quick Now watch me bleed Do I lose weight Or learn to skate Stand on my head Roll over & play dead? Don't walk away Don't drive me insane O please let me be Your puppet again.

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
