Cyberspace

A short poem entitled ' Cyberspace'

For fifty long years I have lived the inane existence Of an infinitesimal dot in the cosmic space

I now have a domain name And a personal web page.

I now journey through the mind-swept plains Fascinated and frightened Through the limitless expanse of cyberspace.

I cross the fords and shallows The meandering rivers and Treacherous mountains I reach strange and exotic lands Full of eccentric, maveric men Denizens of an exciting world Built upon a dot,a slash, and a hyperlink

I have turned into an indefatigable traveller A camel-riding bedouin in search of life-giving water In these vast deserts of cyberspace

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
