I can breathe now ... phew!!

Hey! woman in the mirror I'm talking to you Your back is turned But I see you You can be black Remember Your elongated shadow On the shimmering asphalt? Black shadows? Why? You don't dream in colour? Why? Let me be your critic That's a laugh! I am your critic! My dreams are psychedelic, neon Your reality is jet Excuse me! Your realities are tar Schizophrenic existence Split into bits and pieces More bits than pieces Looking at each other With raised eyebrows "Do I know you?" Do you know me? The man behind me Threw me at the mirror Shattered Hey! shattered women Shards on the floor I'm picking up your pieces Why should I? Building the jigsaw Building the mirror Hey! women in my mind Help yourselves I'm tired of living your lies I don't need a man To hurl me I'll hurl myself At the mirror Leave you in smithereens! Hey! women Excuses in my life How do you do? It has not been nice Knowing you! Hey! women This is my final adieu Tomorrow if we Happen to meet I'll use your opening line "Do I know you?"

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
