Its All A Matrix My Dear

Fantasies have always been alluding and beautiful then the reality... what happens when the closest you can get to the reality is itself a fantasy ......

Every relation accompanies some commitments, looking at commitments as a by product or secondary to relationship is erroneous, its not the commitment which follows a relation but until you r committed their cant be any relation in the first place." This is a prototypical agony aunt column excerpt and also something our classical reasoning has taught us. But today we are living in the times when many of our well established notions are proving to be futile in order to explain the typical Y2K situations. One among which is virtual relation. If we go by the book then itll always remain premature to call them relations since their isnt a concept of commitment there. Whether it is inherently absent or we deliberately avoid it to test the waters, to make use of this great technological medium in between which has given us such powers like deleting a contact, putting on ignorance list or just deciding not to respond which is something impossible to do in the real life no matter how desperate you are or just to let it be an all fun no trouble package.

Whatever it be one thing which has been vindicated is that psyche is superior to everything, feelings dont differentiate between online and offline if you let them do so. But still sticking to the classical concepts of attachments and affection dont normally let them play. Our fundamental belief of reality and illusion, truth and fancy are so mistaken, to believe in things you cant empirically prove, touch or hold is alien to our perceptions.

The roots of all our psychological and spiritual confusions are in this nihilism. Why we cant, even now, understand that the physical presence or absence of a thing is just one of many aspects of its existence. Today technology is so beautifully dealing with the complex questions of extreme philosophical importance, its like the ideals of Robert M Pirsig coming true. Much more then a motorcycle its the Internet which is the core of the Zen quintessence.

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.

heyyy,, this is again a piece of ur great talent..i bow to the simplicity with which u have taken the matter,,but i only wish to explain to u that life is not that much a matrix. i only dare to say that what the commitment means when trinity fell in love for neo becoz orcle has told her that she would.......so think abt it [ Reply to this ]

Either be committed to each other or to some cause with which both r related .neo wasnt just neo he was The one the one who is committed to save the world. Trinity wasnt in love with Mr. Anderson. She was deemed to be in love with a person (who so ever he may be) whos going to accomplish the task for which she was working with Morpheus even before the arrival of Neo.As far as the prophecy of the orator is concernedrecall what Trinity told Neo..Everything orator said has happened to be true. Except one what she really meant to say was o yeah know I m sure you r committed but I m still not sure should I love u or not So..Its still a matrix my dear. I wonder if you have heard of other forms of virtual life - the MUDs. It stands for Multi-user-dungeons and had become one of the most popular form of living as someone else. The idea being you play out a role of a character and lead his life - interacting with other virtual life-forms along the way. Everything just magical. Today ultima online - one of the best graphical MUD has virtual castles being sold on ebay for thousands of real dollars. Food for thought?? [ Reply to this ]

Here youve very cursorily touched an important aspect of Zen philosophy. Indeed the idea is being some one you are not and realizing this lie to be true, think that you are water and feel the flow, think you are fire and feel the warmth. In Zen terminology its called Panch nishdha This is a syncretistic concept. Christian analogy is transubstantiation. Moreover when I call it a Matrix its firsthand proved to be fake and unreal.Free youre mind and when youll do that imaginations start taking shapes youve never envisaged most of which are baseless and unrealistic. uve a phrase for that Virtual castles like Shadows need light to redeem themselves truth need fantasies [ Reply to this ]

Well said....This modern-day form of vitual relationships does test us on everything we were ever taught, or thought of as being the norm. Have hope though....Fantasies can become a reality. For you are already here with me in my heart and mind....as real as if you were standing before me. [ Reply to this ]

Mr. Amish, I don't know if you are christian or not, but if you had the brainers to figure it out, Matrix is all about the bible (of the 21st century). Neo is Jesus, Morpheus is God, Zion is the holy city like Jerusalem. How hard was that for you to figure out? [ Reply to this ]

Mr Simpson Matrix is a work of intellect, being a work of intellect it doesn't belong to any caste or creed. for any one, to figure out what you are saying is not difficult, what 's hard is to break free of these narrow traps [ Reply to this ] From Amish's desk Email Amish 1 2 3 4 5 Total 6 ratings.
