A poem...sad yet true... rate and comment please...
My mother didn’t love me My father didn’t care My mother used me as bait My father used me as an excuse They both threw me up into the Air and ran in separate directions Hoping neither would have to Catch the responsibility of it all Not wanting me“ Not needing me” Not loving me“ Seeing me as a accident” Seeing me as a mistake” My father ran into the Army to get Away from the accident he saw My mother found love somewhere else To take her mind away from the mistake she knew They didn’t realize what they had They didn’t see what really stands before them They didn’t want to know what they had They didn’t want to really see me They didn’t want to care about me They made sure to point that out

What stayed with you?
A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
