Exaggerated Sense of Self Importance

Posted by Harley on Thursday November 23, @05:03AM

Why is that every time you say something, people feel the ridicule, they sense the dig, they judge the sarcasm but fail to see the honesty?

Dont they know that every time you say something you are tearing your soul for them to see? Brutal honesty is something that was never meant to exist. Yes, I tell them what they are, so that they can pretend to be something they are not. You are supposed to be sensitive to their feelings while they just trample and tread over everybody. There is an occasional admiration at the humour, a half acknowledgement of the wit and a grudging acceptance of your existence but never the warmth that this heart desires. How can people be so trapped in themselves to be oblivious of someone so facinating? Why can not they stop and just listen to the wonder that God has made? Me.

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
