A poem which genuinely attempts to look beyond mere existance
I let my inhibitions fall off my impassible self to start a journey of Ecstasy without the feeling of guilt not knowing whether it was dawn or the gloaming A journey where there was eroticism in my every raw nerve titillating my senses to the core where passion was beyond an object of desire and happiness was more than a mere emotion. A journey with no known destination but plenty of milestones where every experience would be felt but not registered and feelings become memorabilia A journey where I would be reborn when I imbibe every element of nature a journey where I realize the importance of being myself and cherish it every moment. Suddenly the consciousness of the world pulls me down from my pursuit of the super conscious and I drift away from the journey and I loose track of it The journey teaches me the greatest lesson of my life to look beyond mere existence in daily life to get its greatest essence
What stayed with you?
A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
