The Eternal wait

Waiting differs from situation to situation. The Einstenian Theory of Relativity does apply in this sense. But how is waiting for someone who is forever lost

I lie awake in my bed Thoughts and visions of you fill my head A tear stains my cheek as I begin to cry Aching for your love I feel as though I could die.

We are apart in body Together in spirit and soul You have filled my emptiness And made me feel whole.

My eyes close. My mind drifts off in a dream. I want what you have shown me so much At times I awake and want to scream.

So now only one question remains. Who do I do? Continue my life as I know it? Or leave it all Because I know I've fallen for You?

For now I will go on And live each day as I have. Just know these words are true. And as soon as you want me. I shall be here forever waiting, Waiting for you.

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
