Winds of Change Posted by sharath k on Tuesday April 10, @01:35AM During a particularly depressive mood i came up with this poem....fatality of life.... Rumble in the sky, darkness abound Thundering away, lighting up the sky Pregnant clouds, amidst this sound Swept along by the winds so high Where is the warmth and the light That had prevailed all along The sightless sun, without his might The roof of the world, to the winds belong From hope to despair, not long to trudge Helped along by the winds of change It is written, so bear no grudge Permanently impermanent, is all this range Why this state, a rudderless fate As being shut in a blind cage Once in control, next on a roll Learn to surf the winds of change Darkness and light, the day and the night Only together are they complete The winds of change, do us enlight That we are but sailors, on the ship of fate

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
