Sunshine (This article has been read 44 times) Posted by sharath k on Tuesday April 10, @10:50PM One of my earlier poems...optimism... It's all in the mind Thats what I find So why feel sad In this world of the mad The flood of warmth, the glow of hope Merry I become, worries I cope Bringing in me, a world of light Filling me up, with a curious delight. The fog of the night, the misty mind Is no longer a bother, of any kind Never a time, had I in me Assurance of the nature, I now see. It's all in the mind Thats what I find So why feel sad In this world of the mad Why is man, so changeable in nature? That the least wind would seem, to doom his future Exulting in hope, fearing in unhope Mirroring the images, of the mind in scope. Sunshine in me, is the will to see Brightness in all, from which i wish to flee A journey we begun, through dark and light Inevitable it is that we make our fight It's all in the mind Thats what I find So why feel sad In this world of the mad

What stayed with you?

A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.

Don't you think that there are two faces to this. Surely it's all in the mind, and this can help one not feel low in life but the same wou;d apply for the moment of joy and the whole essence of living will be lost [ Reply to this ]

yes silver, but a person prone to bouts of extreme emotions including joy, is also prone to depths of depression. hence this poem is just an effort to enforce positiveness amidst a real world.reality is hard.
